Simple, lightweght and relatively light, the Cessna 172 is the perfect plane for casual flying and learners. Dating all the way back to 1956, the 172 has been a reliable and capable plane for 55 years. It grabs the no. 4 on my list for it's versatility and it's special place in my heart as the first plane I ever flew.
